The Bayfield Rec Center is a true community gathering spot, featuring one of the only indoor pools in the area. Visitors and members come year-round to enjoy the facilities, including a hot tub, sauna, racquetball court currently being used for weight lifting and fitness room.
All of our amenities are open to the public 7 days a week. We encourage you to visit as a guest or become a member! |

Join the Cleanup
The Bayfield Rec Center will be conducting it's Annual Deep Cleaning Event in October 2023. There is no better way to contribute to the upkeep of the rec center than by volunteering. We have many tasks that need performing. If you are willing to help, please sign up for a shift (or two). If you're willing to help, we'll put you to work! Follow the link below to sign up!
Swimming Pool
Our 25-meter swimming pool is six lanes wide and features saline water. The shallow end is 3' 4" and the deep end is 10" 10". We keep a lane in at all times for lap swimming and also provide life jackets and pool toys for children.
Saline water gives you a much more enjoyable swimming experience than traditional chlorine. The low salt concentration, similar to that of a human tear, eliminates eye and skin discomfort caused by traditional systems. Swimming in a mild saline solution is much like taking a shower in soft water.

Hot Tub & Sauna
Come relax in our hot tub and sauna! They are both open anytime the pool is open. Our hot tub holds 1800 gallons of water at a comfortable temperature of 104 degrees and seats eight people (open to 8 people). Ages 6 and up will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times, it is recommended that a child does not spend more than 10 minutes in the hot tub at a time.

Fitness Room
Our fitness room has:
- 3 treadmills
- 2 elliptical trainers
- 1 Stairmaster
- 1 rowing machine
- 3 stationary bicycles
- Large selection of free weights
- Universal cable machine
- Squat rack & adjustable benches
- Selectorized Weight lifting equipment for both the novice and expert
