Parent and Child Swimming
All lessons are taught by a Red Cross Certified Instructor
Little Fish Swim Readiness Class
Familiarize children between the ages of 6 months and approximately 2 years with the water and teach swimming readiness skills. Provide safety information for parents and teach techniques parents can use to orient their children to the water. |
Big Fish Swim Readiness Class
Improve skills learned in Little Fish and teach more advanced skills.
Continue to build on water safety knowledge for parents and children. |
Red Cross Swim Lessons
All lessons are taught by a Red Cross Certified Instructor
We need a minimum of 4 registered to hold a level. If unable to register because online registrations are full, please call us at 715-779-5408 or fill out the form above to be added to our waitlist.
- Ages: 5 years +
- Class length: 30 minutes
- Session Duration: Eight sessions over 4 weeks
- Parent Participation: One parent/guardian be in the pool area or building

- Level 1 - Students explore and learn basic aquatic skills.
- Level 2 - Students will successfully use primary skills and start developing aquatic locomotion.
- Level 3- Students develop stroke readiness including elementary backstroke, treading water and diving
- Level 4 - Students will build confidence and improve strokes including breaststroke, sidestroke, and turns.
- Level 5 - Students refine their performance of all strokes and increase their distance.
- Level 6 - Students increase distance, demonstrate effectiveness and efficiency in all strokes.

Thursdays through Sept 1 between 4pm-6pm
30 minute lesson Members $45 per person Non-members $75 per person Semi-private swim lessons are available for 2 or more swimmers with a 4 swimmer max. Swimmers must be around the same skill level. All Group/Family Lessons will be taught by a Red Cross Certified Instructor. |
Thursdays through Sept 1 between 4pm-6pm
30 minute lesson Members $60 Non-members $90 Private swim lessons are available for children and adults who would like individual instruction to further their swimming ability and/or for those whose schedules do not fit our regularly scheduled lessons. All Private Lessons will be taught by a Red Cross Certified Instructor. |
